We’ve been running this business for almost 5 years now and every year or so we relook at what we do, think about our offerings and try to think of ways to improve what we do to make a better experience for our couples. We always want to create the most stunning wedding florals, that goes without saying, but often there are things we can do to make our process run more smoothly, freeing up time that we can spend making our product even more amazing.

So, in our fifth year we have taken stock of all we have achieved, the over 150 weddings we have created the flowers for and decided to make a couple of big changes with how we work.

We will now have two options for you, allowing for different floral budgets, both giving you the Horseshoe Flowers wow-floral experience.

Fully Bespoke or our more simple Small Curated Wedding style offering.

Small Curated Weddings

We have decided to offer a selection of our favourite and most popular styles, in a simple ready to buy system. This will mean that couples who want to get married simply and have just a small amount of really special flowers, all created in our Horseshoe Flowers style, can purchase items simply and efficiently. No need to have phone calls to run through everything, just order your items based on one of our four styles and sit back and let us take over and create you your beautiful wedding flowers, in our own signature style. Enjoy the surprise of seeing everything for the first time on your wedding day (or a couple of weeks before if you prefer!).

We are so thrilled to be able to offer our couples four different designs, in lots of different styles. Whether you are looking for a wedding bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, buttonholes, flower crowns or table decor, we’ve got it all covered in our Small Curated Weddings. This is a “hands-off” approach and will make each design little different based on the flowers we have in stock, so you will be giving us a free rein to create something absolutely stunning for you with the latest and greatest dried and preserved flowers, in our style. Our different styles

Romantic rose and eucalyptus

First up is a really classically beautiful concept made with preserved roses, dried flowers and preserved foliage. This wouldn’t be Horseshoe Flowers though if we didn’t include a few little touches of fluffy pampas or bunny tails. You can expect us to take this classic and romantic style up a notch with some tonal pinks and different foliage varieties.

Boho-Luxe Pampas and Eucalyptus

Perhaps you are looking for more of a boho-luxe vibe? We love a bit of pampas drama so this style has some dramatic longer stems of pampas grass but has an overall lovely soft and tonal colour palette made with ivory and beige dried and preserved flowers.

Autumnal Warm Tones

Next we have a perfect choice for all you Autumnal couples. We create a lot of this style of florals and just love putting them together, all the different tones and textures, offset with lots of lovely foliage in different colours. You’ll definitely find a touch or two of a fun contrast in here too… in true Horseshoe Flowers style.

Wildflower Rainbow

Finally, we are offering a gorgeous wildflower inspired multicolour collection. We love this naturally foraged vibe with lots of different styles of dried flowers and mixed together in a relaxed and loose feeling. You’ll definitely get lots of different coloured oats, wheat and gypsophila in this design but prepare to be surprised with a gorgeous colour palette.

How it all works if you choose to opt for the small curated wedding option:

First fill in our enquiry form

Choose one of our four designs that you want to use as a starting point. You can specify additional colours that you want to include for an additional £150 or you can simply leave it up to our design team to create a stunning design for you in our signature style. If we have availability we will confirm your date and you can get booked in.

You book us in

We ask for a £100 deposit in order for you to secure your date with us. After that we will source any flowers and foliage we need before getting creative and starting work on your beautiful wedding flowers.

You receive your flowers

We can either ship your flowers to you (for an additional fee), or arrange for pick up from our studio in Wirksworth, Derbyshire. You receive your flowers well in advance of your wedding day, taking a whole load of stress out of the equation.

Finally, it’s your special day and then get to keep your flowers! So simple!

How much does this option cost?

Regardless of the option you chose, the prices for each item are the same. We really wanted to simplify our offering and be really transparent on all costs to help you plan your special day with complete ease, whichever options you go for. The bespoke option will also include more elaborate designs such as moon gates, arches, hanging clouds and more so you will need to get in touch to discuss the prices of these items.

Fully Bespoke Floral Design

Alternatively you can go all out and have the full, bespoke service. We will create your floral concept, speak with you on the phone to get the initial theme and then collate all your ideas and themes into one beautiful moodboard concept with colour palettes and a full bespoke quote. With this option you will be able to feed into the design process as we will send you photos of your wedding bouquet when we have made it, you can make any changes you want until it is perfect and then we will create the rest of your flowers before hand delivering them to you if you are based locally. We will still set up weddings further afield for an additional cost.

How it works for our all out floral experience bespoke option:

First let’s chat

We start with a phone call to discuss your ideas and run through the basics. We’ll have a chat about where you are at with your planning and a little about your venue and your wedding party, so we can get an understanding of your special day.

We create your floral design proposal

We prepare a bespoke floral proposal for you, encompassing your ideas, our creative vision, colour palette and reference inspiration images along with the all important numbers and pricing.

You book us in

We ask for a £100 deposit in order for you to secure your date with us. After that we will source any flowers and foliage we need before getting creative and starting work on your beautiful wedding bouquet. A couple of months before your wedding we send you photos of your bouquet, you are then able to feed into the design process and make any changes you would like to see.

You receive your flowers

We can either ship your flowers to you, or arrange for pick up or drop off from our studio in Wirksworth, Derbyshire or the surrounding area. You receive your flowers well in advance of your wedding day, taking a whole load of stress out of the equation.

Finally, it’s your special day and then get to keep your flowers!

How much does the fully bespoke option cost?

This option will allow you to request specific flowers and colours as well as have complementary use of our arches, stands, glassware and fabrics and we have a minimum spend of £1200 in place for this service.

The prices of our floral items will loosely follow the prices of the small curated weddings, prices will only change if you specify that you want something larger or something with more specific flowers. Larger items such as flower clouds and arches will need to be quoted specifically for you depending on the design, style, size. We can discuss this once we have had our initial conversations.

So whether you are looking for an all our floral extravaganza, bespoke colours and items or you are more of a low-fuss couple who still want the beauty and style of Horseshoe Flowers but have a smaller budget, there is definitely something for everyone with our new offering. To be honest, nothing has really changed, we still work with couples of all budgets, but we have now created something simpler and clearer so that you can plan your wedding flowers more easily. We can’t wait to create your cream wedding florals!
